Why Svadrishti exists
Twenty-five years in enterprise technology taught me one thing: the technologies that change civilizations don't change them evenly. For decades, the gap was English, expense, and expertise. With AI, that gap is closing — but only for those who already know where to look. India has 63 million MSMEs. They have the businesses. They have the data, sitting in WhatsApp chats and invoices and Tally exports. What they don't have is a way in. Svadrishti exists to be that way in — in the languages where work actually happens. This is what I mean when I call technology a dharma. And the same dharma demands we defend the Indians for whom AI is not a way in but a way to be exploited — the children, the elders, the newly-arrived.

Intelligence is becoming free. For most of the world, that's a productivity story. For India's 63 million MSMEs — businesses with no CTO, no data team, and no English-first AI tooling — it's something more fundamental: the first time advanced technology has been within reach without a translator. Svadrishti exists to close that final gap — in the languages and clusters where work actually happens. And to defend the Indians for whom that same intelligence, unchecked, is not a productivity story but an exposure.

Make applied AI reachable — and safe — for every Indian. Reachable for those building with it. Safe for those it's being used on.
No independent, grassroots organization delivers technology awareness and financial literacy for ALL ages in tier-2/3 cities and rural India in vernacular languages. Government programs exist but need local execution partners. No one runs hands-on, field-based AI diagnostics for traditional MSMEs at the cluster level. And no one is asking what Indian children, elders, and digitally newly-arrived families need to stay safe from the harms AI is already bringing into their homes. Svadrishti is the applied AI layer for Bharat — within reach for those who can use it, a shield for those it's being used on. Starting with a pilot in NCR clusters, building outward.
